Worksheet 1-2 Activating My Lucid Dreaming
Sheet 1.2. Activating My Lucid Dreaming.
Oneironaut is a consciously aware traveller in a Lucid Dream.
I would like to introduce you to the term of O-neiro-naut. An Oneironaut is a traveller who can travel in a dream consciously. In comparison to an Astronaut, this is a person who travels beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. Conscious dream travellers can change the outcomes of the dream, both at night and during the day.
Let us look at some terms around this field of study which includes Oneironautics and how to improve the experience and the triggering of a Lucid Dream and how to prolong a Lucid Dream state.
Dream Signs to look out for. Does it have people for direction, buildings for attitudes and vehicles for the body? Could this dream be a current warning for my everyday life to take immediate precautions to prevent an event happening or to reduce its consequences? Could this dream be a learning experience for daily soul growth? Could the dream be a preparation for humanity’s benefit?
- FILD – Finger Induced Lucid Dreaming. Between sleeps during the night, tap your fingers together to induce sleep and lucid dreaming as you fall back to sleep.
- Dream Reality Checks. Ask in a dream ‘Am I Dreaming?’ See if you can switch the lights off? Often in a dream you look like a 25-year-old version of yourself. Check in a dream mirror to see if look like your current age or more like your 25-year-old self.
- DILD – Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming. This is where, during a dream, you trigger lucidity.
- MILD – Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dreaming. The use of repeating Mnemonic triggers of words, phrases, or music before sleep can help to prepare for Lucid dream activation or to confirm an action within a dream to make it a lucid dream.
- WILD – Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. This is where a person enters the dream state while being awake and what is happening when you are recalling the dream material from the evening sleep state and recording them in a journal or on the computer.
- ADA – All Day Awareness. This extends the WILD experience to an all-day experience.
- DIC – Dream Infinity Curiosity. DIC is a term describing knowledge within the Universe known by the Infinity symbol, ∞. It induces a feeling of floating in space.
- DEC – Dream Eternity Curiosity. DEC is a term describing knowledge beyond the Universe to include Source Energy and is known by the Eternal Symbol for the sound and light of AUM or OM which is represented as a Dot within a circle or Zero-point Energy.
